Thomas W. (Tommy) Sammons III graduated in 1991 from Texas State University.  After graduation Tommy continued a career as a professional musician until 1996.

In 1997 Tommy returned to Sammons Construction as a Superintendent where he had worked for five years prior to his continued education.  Sammons Construction is a dry utilities service installation and maintenance company that provided the foundation for network engineering, design, construction, and operations expertise for Tommy.  By 2000 he was promoted to President of Sammons Construction and added the dimension of customer relations to his arsenal.

In 2001 WaveMedia, Incorporated underwent significant growth by solidifying a thirty five mile fiber optic network installation phase that began a partnership between Carl Merzi and Tommy Sammons.  Tommy is responsible for developing business relationships in the Private, Public and Government sectors that have resulted in additions to the WaveMedia customer base.  Some of these include Anadarko Petroleum, Montgomery County, The Department of Homeland Defense, Northstar Traffic Division, Entergy, and Sudden Link among others.

One of the most important traits the Tommy insists on for all levels of his companies is Integrity.  “It is more important for an individual or entity to have integrity and fail than to compromise its integrity and call it success”.
